Participants spend four weeks in Exeter, attending the Corkscrew Enterprise Hub, where they will undertake a structured program of hands on work experience, complemented by relevant training. The training framework focuses on areas such as business incorporation, marketing strategies, tax issues and accounting.
The Corkscrew Enterprise Hub collaborates with a range of national and international entrepreneurs and social enterprises, who supply projects for the interns, ranging from business, engineering, design, technology and administration. The interns work on their allocated tasks in conjunction with their host entrepreneur, while also completing the required modules to secure the ASDAN Employability/Enterprise Award.
Each four-week programme includes participants from across Europe, so interns will have the opportunity to work with their peers in a multi-cultural, multi-national environment, as well as establishing an international network with likeminded young entrepreneurs.
